Pow #3 Photo

My favorite picture is a picture of my family. My family and I are so close and without them I am nothing.  I associate this picture with happiness because my family makes me happy. In this picture it was Easter and it was a very warm Easter and probably one that I will never forget. The weather was amazing and my whole family was there.  It was one of the 1^st times that I actually felt happy to be around my family because sometimes it’s a lot of drama.

POW #2 Satire

This is a good example of satire because it shows that even babies are being introduced to technology with out even knowing it. At the same time its kind of sad because twenty years ago and a child was to do something like that, it wouldn't even mean the same thing. They would be scolded not praised. The author is trying to make the point that Facebook is going to far.

POW 1

My name is Viny and I was named after my paternal grandmother. Her name was Viny. My brother was named after my maternal grandfather and his name is Virgil. They just so happen to have the same name. I often get called Vinny but I don't mind. I answer to that too. In 9th grade my friend Urian started calling me Vinyl so sometimes people call me that..but mostly just people from Olathe East. Sometimes people call me Vine and I don't really care for that too much. I guess the orgin of my name has something to do with vines. I used to hate my name but I've had it for 18 years so its not so bad.
